Physically Integrated Dance Masterclass
Wednesday June 4 & June 11, 7:00 -9:00 pm

Prepare to leave all your preconceptions at the door — AXIS Dance Company, one of the country’s most acclaimed and innovative ensembles of performers with and without disabilities, will teach a 2-night Physically Integrated Dance Master Class. During this inspiring workshop the company of dancers will teach, participate, and guide the exploration of physically integrated dance that by nature uses principles of contact improvisation. The fundamentals of this philosophy will be investigated during this master class while building trust in a self-challenging and creative environment. We invite dancers of all skill levels with or without physical disability to attend master class.

Creative Dance Class for Teens with and without disabilities
Do you like to move? Do you like to dance and to be creative? Do you enjoy dancing with peers? Then join our exciting creative dance class for teens with and without disabilities (age 12-21). During this 8-week session we will teach modern & creative dance techniques, giving you the opportunity to discover your own dance vocabulary. Together we will explore new and exciting ways to move, build social skills and body awareness while having fun.
