On the Level (no hills or steps!) Walking Tour - Benefiting AXIS Dance Company
Led by your guide and former Board member, Marilyn Straka, this all level, all accessible tour of historic Market Street and Yerba Buena Gardens will highlight the points of interest and historic details of places familiar to you plus some surprises. 10-city blocks of walking total. All proceeds are donated to AXIS Dance Company.
ON THE LEVEL San Francisco Walking Tours is a licensed San Francisco Business, founded in 1999. Its primary goal is to share the joys of walking in San Francisco with people of all abilities, ages and interests who seek sightseeing tours that are more personal, intimate and can reveal hidden gems of the magnificent city of San Francisco.

AXIS/Access-Ability, Panel Discusiion & Performance
Performance: Wednesday February 17, 2010 , 4:00-7:00PM
UCLA Disability Studies, UCLA Dept. of World Arts and Cultures and The Center for the Study of Women presents AXIS/Access-Ability. On the program are Panel Discussion: "Choreographing Disability" let by Petra Kuppers and Victoria Marks and performance of "Vessel", "Point to Something" and "Room with no View" by AXIS Dance Company.

3/21/10-3/27/10 - University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA
During their weeklong residency, AXIS will work with students and community members through workshops, master classes, lectures, demonstrations and live performance.

AXIS will be in-residence for one week conducting workshops and developing a community participation piece with choreographer David Dorfman. Their performance marks the 20th Anniversary of the American with Disabilities Act.
