AXIS in Motion: Virtual Class II

That’s right –– we’re back for a second virtual dance class in the month of August! Log in to Zoom and get moving with us from anywhere in the world.
These classes have sold out in the past, so make sure to secure your spot and register below to join us.
Thanks to support from the California Arts Council, class is FREE to the public.
CLASS DESCRIPTION: Disabled, non-disabled, d/Deaf, and neurodiverse participants of all experiences and backgrounds are invited to join AXIS for an accessibility-driven contemporary dance class. We will begin with warmups designed to draw awareness to the full body, before moving on to technique and improvisation exercises that encourage all dancers to respond to the environment and each other with embodied joy.
ACCESS:
• ASL interpretation, and live auto-captions through otter.ai provided on screen.
• Visual descriptions of movement for the blind and low-vision community.
