Community Improvisation Jam

April 25, 2023 @ 10:30 am 11:45 am PDT

A group of disabled and non-disabled artists jam out in the studio together at an AXIS workshop. White text reads "Community Dance Jam Tues April 25y | 10:30 - 11:45am, FREE, Berkeley Ballet Theater, register: axisdance.org" , with a rainbow border and AXIS logo.

Join the AXIS dancers in-person for a FREE all-levels improvisational dance jam at the gorgeous Berkeley Ballet Theater studios! In this class, disabled, non-disabled, and neurodiverse participants are invited to respond to the people and environments around them with embodied joy. In the process, we will learn ways to affect time and space through the choices we make as movers and artists. This class is for movers 18+ with all background and experience levels.

Covid Policy: Masks will be required for this class, unless otherwise agreed upon from all participants prior to the start of the class. Read Berkeley Ballet Theater’s covid policies through the link here.

Accessibility Info:

• Berkeley Ballet Theater is wheelchair accessible, with ADA accessible bathrooms

• Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide ASL Interpretation for this class.
