AXIS’ Home Season performances are BACK in the Bay – this time with special guest artists Post:ballet!
AXIS Dance Company presents Ecos October 11 – 13th at ODC Theater.
Ecos will feature a lineup of three world premieres from award-winning Spanish choreographer Jorge Crecis, celebrated Bay Area artist Dazaun Soleyn, and AXIS Artistic Director Nadia Adame. Across these artistic perspectives, Ecos will unviel the many complex layers of the human experience to illuminate the core of what moves us forward.

Accessibility: The ODC Theater is Wheelchair and ADA Accessible, with accessible, all-gender bathrooms. To reserve ground-floor accessible seats for wheelchair users, patrons with disabilities, and companions, please indicate so when ordering your tickets or contact the ODC Box Office at [email protected] or (415) 549-8534. Accessible seating is also available for those requesting ASL interpretation, which will be provided for performances and Q&A on Saturday, October 12th. Additional access considerations include:
– Closed Captions will be provided for all three performances.
– KN95 masks or similar will be required for all audience members for performances on Sunday, Oct 13th (extra masks will be available on site). Masks are encouraged but not required for performances on Oct 11th & 12th.
– Audio Description is woven into the musical composition of Piel de Luna. Additional description for the full production will be provided Sunday, October 13th, with pre-show Haptic Access Tour at 1:00pm.
Audio Description provided by Gravity Access Services. Audio description is a live audio track spoken by a professional audio describer to audience members with visual impairments through a wireless headset system. It provides clear and engaging descriptions of the meaningful visual details of a performance.
