Outdoor Performance | Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes

October 19, 2023 @ 4:00 pm 5:00 pm PDT

A diverse group of disabled and non-disabled dancers perform on a white outdoor stage, which opens up to a majestic background of trees, rolling hills and sky. Zara lifts Louisa upside down in a cartwheel motion, while Julie and Alaja follow this motion with their upper limbs. The dancers wear period costumes in shades of beige, green and maroon, with red and white flowers in their hair. The INBA and AXIS logos are placed next to text included in event description.

Following AXIS’ performances at Festival Internacional Cervantino, we are thrilled to perform and offer workshops at the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Arte & Literatura, located at the stunning Palacio de Bellas Artes in the historic center of Mexico City.

On October 19th, our company will perform excerpts of Ben Levine’s Tread and Asun Noales’ Desiderata at the Palacio’s Plaza de la Danza, 5pm CST. The performance will include a question and answer session with AXIS artists.

More information coming soon.
