AXIS Dance Company seeks a full-time disabled, non-disabled, D/deaf, or neurodivergent dancer for the 2025/26 seasons – a physically disabled dancer is highly desired.
A Dancer with AXIS is a highly motivated individual with a strong desire to perform, learn, grow, and experience as much as possible to maintain and develop the skills necessary as a professional in the field. Collaboration and teamwork are at the heart of the creation and performance of our repertory and delivery of our extensive dance education and outreach programs for disabled and non-disabled people of all ages.
AXIS offers competitive compensation with a salary based on experience. This is a full-time position for 43 contracted weeks. A robust benefits package, including health insurance, paid holidays, set paid time off and monthly physical therapy, is included.
All material must be submitted no later than Saturday, July 26th, 2025 by 11:50pm PST to be considered for the position. All applicants will receive notification by August 4th, 2025, indicating whether or not an invitation to audition on August 15th, 2025 is offered.

The Development Director will lead the stewardship of individual donors and corporate sponsorship opportunities, as well as support strategy for other funding sources in collaboration with AXIS’ grant writer.
This is a 30hrs/week exempt position with a hybrid schedule in the San Francisco Bay Area – with in-person work taking place at our office in Berkeley. This position will require occasional events and weekends during some of the programming and performances. Previous Development Director experience with a proven track record of fundraising is highly desired.
