The Reflective Surface was created in 2012, but due to injury was rarely performed in its entirety. I’d like to express my gratitude to the original cast of this work: Joel Brown, Sonsheree Giles, Emily Eifler, and Sebastian Grubb. I had never worked with a physically integrated company before, and these artists generously opened the door to honest and inquisitive communication with humor and respect. The work’s title speaks to a unique creative process. In this reworking of the original material, that has evolved further. With joy, I see the voice of every artist who has collaborated on this piece through the past five years in this offering. – Amy Seiwert
