AXIS will perform excerpts of Ben Levine's Tread and Asun Noales' Desiderata at the historic Palacio de Bella Artes in Mexico City, at 5pm CST. The performance will include a question and answer session with AXIS artists.
Following AXIS' performances at Festival Internacional Cervantino, we are thrilled to perform and offer both a Composition Class and Integrated Master Class at the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Arte & Literatura, located at the stunning Palacio de Bellas Artes in the historic center of Mexico City.
AXIS is honored to join this performance series at Arizona State University, which provides K-12 students with an opportunity to see incredible artists from around the world and the opportunity for teachers to incorporate these performing arts experiences into their daily curriculum. The program offers In-person and live-streamed performances with a Live Q&A. Tickets for in-person attendance is $3 per person (students, chaperones, etc), and online viewing is FREE. Please note that this performance is for K-12 students and educators, and not open to the general public.
AXIS is honored to teach a Composition Class to High School students and an Accessibility 101 workshop to Arts Administrators at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts.
Disabled, non-disabled and neurodiverse participants of all experience levels are invited to join AXIS for an accessibility-driven contemporary dance class. We will begin with warmups designed to draw awareness to the full body, before moving on to technique and improvisation exercises that encourage all dancers to respond to the environment and each other with embodied joy.

AXIS is excited to offer mind-opening assembly performances and dance workshops for grades K-12. The programs showcase innovative, contemporary choreography and emphasize collaboration among disabled, non-disabled and neurodiverse people.

With the best interests of the artists and audiences in mind, and due to the ongoing impact of the severe weather to the Wallis campus, this season’s performances of AXIS Dance Company have been postponed.  We hope to reschedule these shows and will announce new dates as soon as we are able.

AXIS invites disabled and/or neurodiverse choreographers to apply to our 2024 Choreo-Lab Fellowship. The Lab offers an inclusive environment where established, disabled artists mentor their peers to challenge boundaries and create perception changing art. During the Lab participants will be led through a creation process stemming from their own concept, collaborating with an integrated group of performers including AXIS dancers and professional dancers from the local community. The Lab provides studio space, dancers, and administrative support for every choreographer. This opportunity also includes ongoing mentorship and professional development support in the year following the Lab.
