AXIS redefines dance & disability.
With the best interests of the artists and audiences in mind, and due to the ongoing impact of the severe weather to the Wallis campus, this season’s performances of AXIS Dance Company have been postponed.  We hope to reschedule these shows and will announce new dates as soon as we are able.
AXIS is thrilled to partner with the CalArts for a series of workshops and teacher trainings for their School of Dance faculty and students.
For the final stop on our Southern California tour, we're heading to San Diego, where our dancers will teach integrated dance workshops at the Creative, Performing & Media Arts Middle School.
Just in time for Bay Area Dance Week – AXIS in Motion returns to Berkeley Ballet Theater from 10- 11am for an invigorating and accessible dance class from the full AXIS Team!
AXIS is thrilled to perform 'Harmony of Souls' for the 2024 UniqueSource Achievement Awards, which recognizes outstanding workers from around the state of Pennsylvania who demonstrate exceptional character in living with disabilities, particularly in the workplace.

AXIS invites disabled and/or neurodiverse choreographers to apply to our 2024 Choreo-Lab Fellowship. The Lab offers an inclusive environment where established, disabled artists mentor their peers to challenge boundaries and create perception changing art. During the Lab participants will be led through a creation process stemming from their own concept, collaborating with an integrated group of performers including AXIS dancers and professional dancers from the local community. The Lab provides studio space, dancers, and administrative support for every choreographer. This opportunity also includes ongoing mentorship and professional development support in the year following the Lab.
