2023 Choreo-Lab Fellowship

The goal of the AXIS Choreo-Lab Fellowship is to develop, refine and advance the artistic skills of disabled choreographers. The Lab offers an inclusive environment where established, disabled artists mentor their peers to challenge boundaries and create perception changing art.

In order to be considered for the Choreo-Lab Fellowship, you must be available for the duration of the Lab, identify as a disabled choreographer, reside in and be legally able to work and receive payment in the United States.

AXIS Dance Company invites disabled, non-disabled and neurodiverse dancers from around the world to engage, share and learn from one another and the AXIS dancers and staff for our annual Summer Intensive. 

The 2023 Summer Intensive will take place IN-PERSON from July 24th-28th, 2023, in partnership with Cal State University East Bay in Hayward, CA.

Founded by Prince Harry, Invictus is an annual event that supports the recovery and rehabilitation of wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women through the power of sport and athletics.

Performing our triple bill Adelante, we are thrilled to share our work in the historic city of Guanajuato, joining 2,200 artists from 31 countries in this vibrant and historic celebration of the performing arts.
